You see, this 80 year old woman has been coming for years and they know that when she shows up it will be with gifts (this year beanie babies) and hugs galore.
They put on an amazing program to encourage the teachers and prayed for us by name. It was truly a blessing to have their group here with us and it great to hear some southern accents! Ms. Martha is pretty well known in this town because she has invested so much in the lives of people here. During the second Intifada she literally kept the school going when almost all hope was gone. I was honored and extremely humbled to get to spend a few days around this amazing woman of God.
I cannot believe that its already half way through November! It still seems like I stepped foot here merely a week ago. This place is beautiful, chaotic, and eye opening.
26 seven year olds have completely changed my life and I wouldn't have it any other way.
